Bluetooth over Wi-Fi?

Consumers who are frustrated by the limitations of Wi-Fi connectivity between products might be interested in a product that’s from Cirago. It can connect computers, smartphones and even wireless keyboards and headphones via a Bluetooth network.

Cirago’s Bluetooth 3.0 High Speed Adapter ($40) lets you connect up to seven devices that are in your home to the same network, but unlike with Wi-Fi, you won’t have to use the Internet to connect the devices. Cirago says the network can serve devices that are within 33 feet of the adapter and can support data speeds of up to 150 megabits per second, which is comparable with older Wi-Fi networks.
