Freedom Scientific now provides a high-powered alternative with its Ruby Handheld Video Magnifier. The device has a 4.3-inch, color video screen that can magnify text by 14 times. Most standard magnifying glasses’ intensity ranges up to 10 times. The Ruby also can change the text and background colors individually to make reading easier.
