Amazon announced that it now accepts Kindle products in its trade-in program.
Kindle owners can trade in their device at amazon.com/tradein for an Amazon gift card that they may use toward the purchase of a new Kindle e-book reader, a Kindle Fire tablet computer or a Kindle Touch e-book reader.
The debut in September of the Kindle Fire and the Kindle Touch spurred Amazon to add Kindle products to its list of eligible trade-in items.
