Best Buy announced that it will sell a house-brand tablet computer, and that the tablet will be available as early as November 2012.
The 9.7-inch Insignia Flex tablet will run on Google’s Android 4.0 operating system and will have a 1-gigahertz dual-core processor. The tablet is expected to have a battery life of 10 hours.
Best Buy made the announcement Oct. 14, 2012, on its Insignia Products brand Facebook page, but didn’t announce the price. Media reports pegged the cost at around $250. Insignia also is Best Buy’s house brand for TVs.
