CES Live: A handy companion for your iPhone, tablet computer
Lethal Protection
Jan. 11, 2012, Consumer Electronics Show—With the wide array of gadgets taking up floor space at the international exhibit here in Las Vegas, it isn’t surprising that a considerable amount of space also is devoted to cases, stands and other various mounting tools for these gadgets.
One such accessory that deserves attention is Lethal Protection’s spiderlike Life-Phorm. The accessory’s six arms have flexible joints that allow you to stand or clamp it onto virtually any surface—making it easy for consumers to affix their iPhone to a bicycle’s handlebars and to stand a camera on the beach to take a group picture. The accessory’s cradle can be adjusted to hold cameras, smartphones and tablet computers.
A $150 version is available to order now, but a cheaper, plastic version is expected by the spring.
