Get ready to say farewell to the Chrysler Town & Country minivan. Multiple reports indicate that Chrysler will eliminate the Town & Country and two of the automaker’s SUVs in favor of a new crossover SUV as early as 2014.
Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne told Automobile Magazine that Town & Country will be converted to an upscale crossover vehicle. The Jeep Compass and the Patriot also will be discontinued, multiple publications reported.
A Chrysler spokesperson whom Consumers Digest contacted today wouldn’t say when the vehicle-lineup changes would take place.
The Town & Country has been a Consumers Digest Best Buy selection since 2005.
