Dunkin’ Donuts is ready to get into bottled coffee, and its partner in the venture is none other Coca-Cola.
Dunkin’ Donuts says it will launch a line of Dunkin’ Donuts bottled iced coffees in “early” 2017, which will be the doughnuts-and-coffee chain’s first ready-to-drink bottled beverages. Coke will make, distribute and sell the product at grocery stores, conveniences stores and Dunkin’ Donuts stores.
The bottled coffees will be made to Dunkin’ Donuts’ specifications and include Arabica coffee, real milk and sugar. According to published reports, Starbucks controls almost all of the market for ready-to-drink bottled coffee in a partnership with Pepsi.
