Fiat Chrysler Automobiles likes to say that its 2015 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat has more power and speed than any other sedan in the world. Now, it has an intimidating price to match.
The Charger SRT Hellcat occupies the high end of the 2015 Charger lineup and starts at $62,295. It features a 6.2-liter, 707-hp supercharged HEMI V8 engine.
At the other end of the price and power spectrum is the entry-level Charger SE ($27,995), which has a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine that’s mated to a standard eight-speed transmission and generates 292 hp.
In between is an all-wheel-drive SE trim level ($30,995), two SXT variants, three R/T versions and the Charger SRT 392 ($47,385), which is fitted with a 6.4-liter Hemi V8 engine that cranks 485 hp.
Fiat Chrysler says the 2015 Dodge Charger will be in U.S. showrooms by the end of 2014. Production of the SRT Hellcat version is scheduled to start in the first quarter of 2015.
