Ford extends EcoBoost option to 2012 Explorer and Edge
Ford is bringing its 2.0-liter EcoBoost powertrain as option to 2012 Explorer and Edge SUV models.
The EcoBoost powertrain turbocharge technology allows a smaller-displacement engine to create as much power as a larger engine does, while it improves the vehicle’s fuel economy.
Currently, the EcoBoost option is a feature that’s available for Ford’s F-150 series. For the 2012 Explorer and 2012 Edge, the option will cost consumers $995.
