Google Wallet now compatible with all major credit cards
Mobile payment application Google Wallet now accepts all credit and debit cards.
When Google Wallet was launched in September 2011, the app supported only Citibank’s MasterCard accounts and Google’s prepaid cards that could be funded from any credit-card account. But the app now works with cards from American Express, Discover, MasterCard and Visa.
One remaining caveat is that Google Wallet is compatible with only five smartphones and one tablet computer. The compatible smartphones are: HTC’s EVO 4G, LG’s Optimus and Viper, and Samsung’s Galaxy Nexus sand Galaxy S III. The compatible tablet is Google’s Nexus 7.
