Lotus says it will unleash its fastest production car ever when its new Evora 400 arrives later in 2015 as a 2016 model.
The 2016 Evora 400 will have a supercharged 3.5-liter V6 engine that produces 400 hp and pushes the car from zero-to-60 mph in 4.1 seconds with a top speed of 186 mph. Lotus says the Evora 400 has a new aluminum chassis and a lightweight composite body. At press time, it wasn’t clear whether the Evora 400 would replace the Evora S or be sold alongside that model.
Lotus says the 2016 Evora 400 will be available in U.S. markets in fall 2015. The price wasn’t disclosed.
