Nissan reveals electric NV200 concept vehicle

Nissan unveiled an all-electric NV200 concept vehicle today at the 2012 North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
The electric NV200 looks similar to the conventional NV200 that’s in production, but the electric vehicle’s “face” takes a cue from the design of Nissan’s Leaf electric vehicle.
Unlike the traditional NV200, the electric variation has large side windows and two large glass roof panels. Nissan says these features open up the vehicle’s interior.
The electric NV200 and the Leaf also are based on the same powertrain.
FedEx is testing the electric NV200 as a prototype vehicle in London.
