Priceline.com releases its first hotel-reservation iPad app

Today, priceline.com is launching its first iPad application that allows customers to make a hotel reservation.

When users type a location into the app, a detailed map pops up that displays hotels that are in the area. Customers can search for hotels by price range, star rating, priceline.com satisfaction score or the “name your own price” option. Once a customer selects a hotel, he/she can book a room within the app.

The free iPad app can be downloaded from the iTunes store.
