Samsung Galaxy S II makes U.S. debut

Samsung is introducing the Galaxy S II smartphone to U.S. consumers this fall.

The Galaxy S II is debuting at Sprint on Sept. 16 and costs $199.99 with a 2-year agreement. The 4G phone also will be offered at AT&T and T-Mobile later this fall.

The Galaxy S II will feature an improved Samsung TouchWiz interface, according to a Samsung news release. The phone also will come equipped with an 8-megapixel camera, a voice-command option and Samsung’s Media Hub feature.
