Toyota introduces Prius c, its latest hybrid

The Prius c, the latest member of Toyota’s hybrid family, made its debut today at the 2012 North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
The five-door hatchback has an estimated 53 mpg in the city and 46 mpg on the highway. It features options such as a 3.5-inch multimedia display and an audio display system that includes navigation and Toyota’s Entune interactive technology.
The Prius c will be available at automobile dealerships in March and will be priced less than $19,000, Toyota says.
