Travelocity’s new app lets travelers book a room while on the road

A new Travelocity mobile application for iPhones makes it easier to book a hotel room while you travel.

The Hotel Deals app allows you to use your iPhone camera to scan an image of a credit card. The app automatically enters your billing information in an online reservation form, which means that users can bypass typing the information in manually.

The app is available free at Apple’s App Store.

It’s uncertain whether a version will be made for Android or Windows smartphones.
