Windows 8 will be released by end of October

Microsoft announced that the much-anticipated Windows 8 operating system will be released by the end of October.

However, the company hasn’t announced an official release date or pricing information for Windows 8.

The operating system, which has a design that’s inspired by mobile electronic devices, will be available as an upgrade on current Windows-based computers and on all new Windows-based computers when the system arrives.
