Wüsthof expands cutting-edge technology to fifth line of knives
Wüsthof
Wüsthof today introduced its latest line of cutlery that relies on its unique precision-edge technology.
The Precision by Wüsthof line six-piece set has an MSRP of $500. Each knife that’s in that set also is sold separately. The line will be available Aug. 1 only at Williams-Sonoma stores. You also can buy the knives at williams-sonoma.com starting today.
Precision is the fifth line of cutlery that Wüsthof has introduced that uses the precision-edge technology.
As we first reported in “Leading-Edge Cutlery,” in the September/October 2011 issue, precision-edge technology relies on computerized lasers to finish or sharpen the knife blade’s cutting edge. Wüsthof is the first manufacturer of German-style cutlery to apply this finishing technique.
