June 15, 2012—Xbox 360 users will see interactive commercials when they stream video through the game console later this year.

Microsoft will introduce the interactive advertising campaign, which is called NUads, in fall 2012, Los Angeles Times reports. Commercials will air only when you use the game console to stream video clips from ESPN, NBC News, TMZ and UFC via Xbox Live, the Xbox 360’s online entertainment service.

Microsoft says it has 40 million Xbox Live online account subscribers.
