May 19, 2017—General Motors recalled 2016–2017 Chevrolet Spark vehicles.
During a crash, if a young child is seated improperly in the front-passenger seat and isn’t wearing a seat belt, the front-passenger air bag might injure the child’s neck when the air bag is deployed.
The remedy for this recall still is under development. The manufacturer hasn’t provided a notification schedule.
