Busch’s Fresh Food Market recalls products that contain onions, citing Listeria risk
Aug. 3, 2012—Busch’s Fresh Food Market recalled certain products, citing a risk of Listeria monocytogenes from contaminated onions that were recalled by Gills Onions. Listeria is an organism that can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in individuals who have weakened immune systems.
The recalled Busch-brand products are as follows: Baked Mostaccioli; Chicken Quesadillas; Chicken Shepherd’s Pie; Chicken Wet Burrito; Down Home Lasagna; Food Bar Soups (all); Green Chili Chicken Enchiladas; Jambalaya with shrimp; Original Potato Pancakes; Spaghetti and Meatballs; Sweet Baby Ray’s Barbeque Meatballs; and Sweet Potato Pancakes.
The recalled products were sold at Busch’s Fresh Foods Market stores in Michigan. No illnesses were reported.
