Buy Buy Baby recalls girls’ denim shorts due to choking hazard

Oct. 5, 2012—Buy Buy Baby recalled Pink Angel embroidered girls’ denim shorts, because the decorative studs that are adhered to the shorts’ pockets can detach and pose a choking hazard to children. Buy Buy Baby received one report of the studs detaching from the shorts. No injuries were reported.

The recalled product was sold in sizes 12M–4T, and a pink lace belt was included. Two butterflies are embroidered on the left front panel of the shorts, and decorative studs are attached to the front and rear pockets. Style number B91540 or B11540 is printed on the hangtag of the shorts.

The recalled product was sold at Buy Buy Baby retail stores from January 2012 through July 2012. Consumers should stop using the shorts and return them to any Buy Buy Baby store for a full refund.
