Ciolino Produce recalls sliced white mushrooms due to Listeria risk
Aug. 20, 2012—Ciolino Produce recalled Highline Mushrooms sliced white mushrooms, because they might be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. Listeria can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in individuals who have weakened immune systems.
The recalled mushrooms were packaged in 8-ounce containers that have lot code L410805, UPC 771163000052 and a “best before” date of Aug. 12, 2015.
No illnesses were reported. Consumers should discard the recalled product and bring their receipt into the store of purchase for a refund.
