Clif Bars recalled due to mislabeling

July 31, 2012—Clif Bar recalled 6-packs of Coconut Chocolate Chip Clif Bars, because they might be mislabeled with White Chocolate Macadamia wrappers. People who have an allergy or a severe sensitivity to coconut risk having a life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product.

The recalled product was sold in a pack of six bars, and has UPC 722252660305 and a “best by” date of 16MAY13G1.

The recalled product was sold at Target and Walmart stores. No illnesses were reported. Consumers should contact Clif Bar for a coupon that can be used to replace the product.
