Aug. 27, 2012—CODA Automotive recalled 2012 CODA vehicles, because the side-curtain air bags might have been installed improperly. In the event of a crash, the side-curtain air bags might fail to deploy as intended, which would increase the risk of injury.

CODA will notify owners, and dealers will inspect and correct the side-curtain air-bag installations as needed, free.

Owners may call CODA at 855/464-2632. Owners also may call National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s Vehicle Safety Hotline at 888/327-4236 or go to safercar.gov.
