Cooper Lighting recalls shower-light trim due to injury hazard
Aug. 30, 2012—Cooper Lighting recalled its All-Pro trim for ceiling shower-light fixtures, because the trim and the glass lens might fall from the fixture, which would pose an impact and laceration hazard to consumers.
This recall involves the All-Pro shower-light trim. A list of the affected model numbers and date codes can be found here. The model number and date code are printed on the part of the trim that faces the ceiling.
The recalled product was sold at Home Depot stores and other home-improvement stores nationwide and by professional installers from January 2012 through July 2012. Cooper Lighting received 407 reports of trim pieces breaking and falling. The reports include head and foot lacerations. Consumers should contact Cooper Lighting to receive a free replacement trim for the shower light.
