Cost Plus
Aug. 31, 2012—Cost Plus recalled its recycled silk floor mat, because the product might have a tack or staple that’s woven into the fabric strips. The tack or staple can cut consumers.
The recycled silk floor mats are 2 feet by 3 feet. The mats were sold in a variety of color combinations. World Market and SKU 441536 are printed on the white care label that’s sewn underneath.
The recalled product was sold at Cost Plus World Market stores nationwide from June 2011 through May 2012. Cost Plus received a report of an incident in which a consumer discovered a tack in a floor mat. No injuries were reported. Consumers should stop using the recalled floor mat and return it to any Cost Plus World Market store for a full refund.
For more information, call Cost Plus at 877/967-5362, 7:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. PT, or go to worldmarket.com.
