Listeria concern prompts recall of Dale and Thomas Popcorn products

Oct. 2, 2012—Dale and Thomas Popcorn recalled certain popcorn products, because they might be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. Listeria is an organism that can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in individuals who have weakened immune systems.
A list of the recalled products and their UPCs and “best by” dates can be found on Food and Drug Administration’s website www.fda.gov/Safety/Recalls/ucm321955.htm.
The recalled products were distributed to various retailers nationwide and sold online. Consumers shouldn’t consume the recalled products and should return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.
