Dawn Food recalls streusel mix due to unlisted allergens

Sept. 10, 2012—Dawn Food Products recalled Sam’s Club Chunky Cinnamon Streusel mix, because the product might contain milk and soy, which aren’t listed on the product’s ingredient label. Consumers who are allergic to milk or soy might have a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product.

The recalled product was packaged in a 25-pound white plastic bucket. The following lot codes are included in this recall: 22031981, 22031982, 22031983, 22231901, 22231902, 22231903, 22231904, 22361983, 22361984 and 22361987. The expiration dates that are included in this recall are Jan. 17, 2013, Feb. 6, 2013, and Feb. 19, 2013.

The recalled product was distributed to Sam’s Club stores in California, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas, Utah and Wyoming. No illnesses were reported.
