Dream on Me recalls infant swing due to strangulation hazard

Oct. 18, 2012—Dream on Me recalled its Happy Swing II infant swing. The opening between the product’s tray and the seat or the grab bar and the seat can allow a child’s body to pass through and become trapped at the neck. This would pose a strangulation hazard to young children if the belt isn’t used.

The Happy Swing II is a fabric swing for infants that has a tray and a grab-bar attachment. The product is red and green. The recalled model/style number, 432, is printed on a label that’s attached to the swing’s frame. The swing sits on a triangle frame and uses a battery.

The recalled product was sold at juvenile-products stores and at CSN stores nationwide, and at amazon.com and wayfair.com from October 2010 through September 2012. No injuries were reported. Consumers should stop using the recalled swing and contact Dream on Me for a replacement product.
