July 31, 2017—American Honda Motor recalled 2017 Honda CR-V 2WD and AWD vehicles.
In the affected vehicles, the fuel-supply pipe might have been manufactured improperly and might become disconnected and leak fuel. As a result, the engine might stall, which increases the risk of a crash, and leaking fuel increases the risk of a fire.
American Honda Motor will notify owners, and dealers will replace the fuel-supply pipe for free. The recall is expected to begin Aug. 25, 2017.
