July 14, 2017—Keystone RV recalled 2018 Dutchmen Coleman travel trailers, models 1705RB, 1755FD, 3015BH, 2605RL, 2305QB, 2515RL, 3025RE and 2855BH.
The affected travel trailers might have been built with incorrect wiring connectors at the air-conditioner junction box. As a result, the wires might come loose and short circuit together, which increases the risk of a fire.
Keystone RV will notify owners, and dealers will replace the incorrect crimp-style connector with a twist-on-style connector for free. The recall is expected to begin in July 2017.
For more information, owners may call Keystone RV at 866/425-4369. Owners also may call National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s Vehicle Safety Hotline at 888/327-4236 or go to safercar.gov.
