Ford E-series vans recalled because of possible wheelchair-lift malfunction

Sept. 11, 2012—MobilityWorks recalled 2006–2010 Ford E-series vans that are equipped with Century-2 or Vista-2 wheelchair lifts. The roll-stop latches that are on the wheelchair lift’s outer barrier might become bent or misaligned. A wheelchair occupant might defeat or ride over the insufficiently latched roll stop, which increases the risk of a fall and injury.

MobilityWorks will notify owners, and Braun dealers will repair the wheelchair lift free.
