Feb. 15, 2012—JN Bailey & Associates recalled a product called the Adjustable Ottoman Bed. When the ottoman is converted into a bed and weight is put on it, it can collapse and cause consumers to fall.

The Adjustable Ottoman Bed is an ottoman that’s on casters. It has a folding metal frame and a high-density foam mattress. The ottoman can open out and be converted into a twin-size bed.

The product was sold in Improvements and Skymall catalogs and at improvementscatalog.com and skymall.com from May 2011 to August 2011 for $150–$190. Improvements Catalog received five reports of the bed collapsing, including two reports of minor injuries.

Consumers should stop using the product and contact Improvements to receive a store credit for the full amount of the purchase price.
