Aug. 6, 2012—Keystone RV has recalled model-year 2013 Bullet Premier 31BHPR travel trailers that were manufactured from April 2, 2012, through July 24, 2012. The gross-vehicle-weight rating and the cargo-carrying-specification information is incorrect on the vehicles’ cargo-carrying-capacity label, federal certification label and the tire-information label. Incorrect information might lead to overloading, which might cause axle or tire failure and increase the risk of a crash.
Keystone will notify owners and provide corrected labels. The recall is expected to begin August 2012.
Owners may contact Keystone at 574/535-2100. Owners also may contact National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s Vehicle Safety Hotline at 888/327-4236 or go to safercar.gov.
