Kumho recalls tires because of cracking in the sidewall

Aug. 13, 2012––Kumho Tires recalled its Solus KH25 tires, size 225/45R17, that were manufactured from Aug. 21, 2011, through June 23, 2012. These tires could develop cracking in the sidewall, which would result in air loss and might result in a tire failure and crash.

Kumho will notify owners, and dealers will replace the recalled tires free. The safety recall is expected to begin August 2012.
