Land Rover recalls Range Rover due to loose windshield
Oct. 15, 2012—Land Rover recalled certain 2012 Range Rover vehicles, because during the manufacturing process, the windshield on these vehicles might have been installed incorrectly. In the event of a crash, the windshield might come loose from the vehicle, which would increase the risk of injury to the vehicle’s occupants.
Land Rover will notify owners, and dealers will replace the windshield. The safety recall is expected to begin on or before Nov. 5, 2012.
Owners may call Land Rover at 800/637-6837. Owners also may call National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s Vehicle Safety Hotline at 888/327-4236 or go to safercar.gov.
