Sept. 6, 2012—Legrand Wiremold recalled Legrand’s Under Cabinet Power and Lighting four-outlet power strip, because the product’s electrical wires are reversed and pose a risk of electric shock.

The recalled power strip was sold in a red package that has Wiremold-Series Part PX1001 printed on the front. The recalled product has model number PX1001 and UPC 086698001253 printed on the bottom of the package.

One incident of electric shock was reported. No injuries were reported. Consumers should unplug and stop using the power strips and return them to Legrand Wiremold for a replacement or a refund.
