Mount Franklin Foods recalls candy because of unlisted milk, sulfites

July 25, 2012—Mount Franklin Foods recalled its Sunrise Indian Corn candy, because it contains unlisted milk and sulfites. People who have an allergy or a severe sensitivity to these products risk having a life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.

The recalled candy was packaged in a clear, plastic 16-ounce tube that has lot number 2321811, UPC 076500166515 and a “best by” date of March 26, 2013.

The recalled product was distributed from July 3, 2012, through July 5, 2012, to Albertson’s retail stores in Arizona, Florida, New Mexico and Texas. No illnesses were reported. Consumers should return the recalled product to the store of purchase for a full refund.
