Nest Collective recalls Jammy Sammy sandwich bars due to labeling error
Feb. 6, 2012—Nest Collective recalled its Jammy Sammy Strawberry Jam & Peanut Butter Flavor Snack Size Sandwich Bars due to a mislabeled inner wrapper.
The cartons contain the “best by” date June 28, 2012, and are marked with UPC 896766001166 on the bottom of the package. The cartons were sold online and at retail stores nationwide and involve products that were distributed by Revolution Foods.
People who have an allergy or a severe sensitivity to peanut should avoid these products because they might have a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume them.People who have any health issue should seek immediate medical attention.
Certain individual bars were labeled incorrectly as Grammy Sammy Honey Graham and Strawberry Yogurt and show the ingredient statement of that product. Both the selling unit and the individually wrapped bars include information that the product was produced in a facility that processes peanuts and other common allergens.
