Nina International recalls ground hot pepper because of salmonella risk
Oct. 10, 2012—Nina International recalled its ground hot pepper because the product might be contaminated with salmonella.
The company’s Ground Hot Pepper was distributed in Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C. The product reached consumers through African and other ethnic food stores. The product is in a 5-ounce, clear plastic container that has the words “Nina International, The Best Brand” and “Ground Hot Pepper, Chillies, All Natural.” The container has a yellow seal and a red “Nina” inscription. The bar code is 745851004004.
Nina International received no reports of illness associated with this product.
