Ready Pac Foods recalls mango products due to salmonella risk

Sept. 4, 2012—Ready Pac Foods recalled certain products that contain mangoes, because the mangoes that are used might be contaminated with salmonella.

The recalled products were distributed to retail stores in Washington, D.C., and in the following states: Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin and Wyoming. No illnesses were reported. Consumers should discard the recalled products and contact Ready Pac Foods for instructions about how to obtain a full refund.
