Samuel Lawrence Furniture
July 18, 2012—Samuel Lawrence Furniture expanded its recall to include full- and twin-size Bordeaux Collection bed frames. The hardware that holds the footboard and the headboard can loosen or detach, which would pose a fall hazard to consumers.
The model numbers that are involved in this recall are 8070-242 and 8070-243 for the full-size and 8070-232 and 8070-233 for the twin-size. The model number is printed on a white label that’s located on the back of the footboard and the headboard.
The recalled products were sold at furniture stores nationwide from August 2009 through April 2012. The company received more than 100 reports of footboards or headboards that detached. The original recall was announced June 27, 2012. Consumers should stop using the recalled bed frames and contact the Samuel Lawrence Furniture to obtain a free repair kit.
