Tractor Supply recalls inflatable tube due to chemical-burn hazard

Aug. 31, 2012—Tractor Supply recalled its Travel Recreational Tube, because contact with the inflatable tube can result in severe skin irritation or burns.

The recalled tubes are made out of gray rubber and are 47 inches in diameter. Model number 1026192 and UPC 4939403118 are printed on the product’s packaging. Product number 11.00R22 is molded onto the tube itself.

The recalled product was sold at Tractor Supply stores nationwide from May 2012 through June 2012. Tractor Supply received 21 reports of consumers who received severe skin irritation or burns while they used the tubes. Seven people sought medical attention for injuries. Consumers should stop using the product and return it to any Tractor Supply store for a full refund.
