Tricam Industries recalls step-stool because the top step can break

Oct. 25, 2012—Tricam Industries recalled the Easy Reach by Gorilla Ladders 3-Step Pro Series step stool, because the top step can break, which poses a fall hazard to consumers.

The model number is HB3-PRO and it’s printed on a blue label that’s located on the underside of the middle step.

The recalled product was sold at Home Depot stores nationwide from April 2012 through August 2012. Tricam received five reports of the step breaking, one of which included a report of scrapes and abrasions to the consumer. Consumers should stop using the recalled step stool and contact Tricam for a full refund.
