Tropical Valley Foods recalls trail mix due to unlisted allergens
Oct. 26, 2012—Tropical Valley Foods recalled dark chocolate and organic dark chocolate trail-mix products, because they might contain soy, tree nuts or wheat, which aren’t listed on the ingredient labels. Consumers who are allergic to soy, tree nuts or wheat might have a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product.

The recalled products were distributed to retailers in the following states: California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, Washington and Wisconsin. No illnesses were reported.
