United Salad recalls mango products due to salmonella risk
Sept. 18, 2012—United Salad recalled certain products that contain mangoes, because the mangoes might be contaminated with salmonella.
A list of affected products can be found on Food and Drug Administration’s website http://www.fda.gov/Safety/Recalls/ucm319752.htm.
The recalled products were sold at retail stores and supermarkets in Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington. No illnesses were reported. Consumers shouldn’t consume these products and should discard them.
