Wal-Mart Recalls Cruller Bakery Pastries Due To Mislabeled Milk Allergen
Feb. 13, 2012—Wal-Mart recalled its eight-count packages of Cruller bakery pastries, because milk wasn’t listed after sodium caseinate, which is a milk derivative, on the ingredient label.
The products were labeled and sold in Wal-Mart store bakeries in all U.S. stores except those in Hawaii, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont, and in Puerto Rico. One adverse reaction has been reported by a customer.
The bakery items that are affected by this recall have a UPC of 787429847 and expiration dates of on or before Feb. 9, 2012.
Customers who have questions about this recall should call Wal-Mart Customer Service at 800/925-6278 or return the product to their nearest store for a full refund.
