World Class recalls heated mats for pets due to shock, fire hazards
Aug. 15, 2012—World Class recalled its Indoor Pet Heating Comfort Pad Mats, because the mats have poor wiring and construction, which poses fire and electrical shock hazards to consumers.
The recalled mats are made out of polyester, were sold in various colors, shapes and sizes, and have a white electrical cord. The recalled product’s model number is GKC2G002.
The recalled product was sold at amazon.com from July 2011 through March 2012. Consumer should stop using the recalled pet mats and contact World Class to receive a full refund. The company is in the process of contacting consumers who purchased the recalled product.
