Zest Garden recalls bistro set due to fall hazard

Aug. 24, 2012—Zest Garden recalled Wilson & Fischer’s bistro set, because the chairs of the outdoor table-and-chair set might break during normal use, which would pose a fall hazard to the consumer.

This recall involves a three-piece outdoor furniture set that has a white, cut-out rose pattern. The set consists of a table and two chairs that are made out of cast iron and aluminum. The table is about 26 inches high and has a diameter of about 24 inches. Each chair is about 33 inches high and has an oval seat that’s about 19 inches long and 16 inches wide. Item number XG-1015-23 is located on a label that’s printed on the product’s packaging.

The recalled product was sold exclusively at Big Lots stores nationwide from November 2011 through May 2012. Zest Garden received five reports of chairs breaking, including three reports of injuries. Consumers should stop using the set and return it to any Big Lots store for a full refund.
